The Goddess of All Femininity

Searches for the path to serenity.

Time after time she casts aside,

Mortals who like her human side.

Her mandate is to fly with the Gods

Or chivalrous princes against the odds.

Perfection is not found in her angel wings,

Scorpions create holes with all their stings.

Walking on the ground with simple grace,

Makes for a more meaningful embrace.

The Goddess hides in a cloud,

Way above the human crowd.

Where no one can see her cry,

Because she is not a perfect butterfly.

As she reveals her truth to the gods,

They only topple to the ground,

Losing their balance from such sound.

The dust settles the vision becomes clear,

Acceptance of imperfections heals the fear

Love false is shed and real joy will abound.
